Meet Candice, who looks 10 years younger in her second hot pic

A bit of a weird scammer, this one. Unlike the early hotties Taylor and Melissa who responded to our initial ads (and who have, later, responded again to our same ad, re-posted), Candice sends a "real person" picture to start -- not professionally taken, poor quality, and looking like a cougar way over the 36 she claims to be, not dressed to impress, and trying a bit too hard to look alluring.

To compel you to hot-headed action, her second e-mail (with a shortened affiliate link to AmateurMatch.com) has indications that she is online right now, encouraging immediacy of action. Plus, the picture she sends is way hotter -- Full-on nudity (with black marker over her eyes) and looking 10 years young. Different hair, harder body, bigger and perfectly round breasts (boob job?). Obviously we can't post that here, but we can show you the initial picture she sent.

Hi

I hope you understand some things my dear, if not, ok, fine.

I'm going to be letting you into my life, so I'm going to be safe as i can be, ok?

You will need to verify your identity, not age, that's stupid, I saw that site, this site is to verify you are who you say you are.

Yes it's free, you get my number, yes it asks for a credit card only to upgrade, but it's safe, i use it. Here's the link.
http://ow.ly/2w4Y2

My user there is FrustratedNCali, and yes, it will have my old cali address on it, I'm not about to give out my new local address just yet. You'll have my number though, for now. I'm home now.

You get my number there and a couple more pics that show I mean business, I'm meeting someone for real, my ex husband can do it, so can I.

Call me. If not I still wish you luck in your search. We are all searching for something.

As mentioned, the ow.ly link goes to AmateurMatch.com. If you look at the landing page, the fine print mentions "Online Cupids" or "OC". Click on that for the disclaimer, which starts with: "...You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious ... the information, text, and pictures contained in the OC's profiles do not pertain to any actual person, but are included for entertainment purposes only ... a single OC may be associated with more than one (1) profile on our Site."

  7. First off, thanks for the info, since I had the same experience. Secondly, can someone please tell me what the purpose is of these scams? For the life of me, I can not figure out what they get out of this. It is mind boggling. You see it is a scam and that is the end of it. I am dying to know what benefit the scammer gets and would appreciate a detailed explanation, if anyone cares to take the time.

Candice told me to do the age verification thing but to my knowledge, it looks like a legit service and does not cost money. Granted, I did not put my CC info in, since I do not trust it. Maybe I am missing something but I just do not see the purpose. But I refused to use the service and she sent me to alt.com, where she had the profile of a male. Lol. But again, alt.com is a legit dating service. What the hell benefit would this scammer get if I joined? The money would go to the website. What am I missing here?????

  8. @Anonymous 9/14th -- I'm sure there are various possibilities. Some of them collect your CC info and either start marketing to you (selling your name to bulk mailers now that they know you are in the single-and-looking demographic), others might get a commission for referring people to the service, still others might be actual staff looking to pad their membership with real people who might then be messaged by other staff or other real people, and thereby create activity on their website for which payment is required.
Whatever the case, you can be sure that:
    (a) they are not really looking for a relationship of any sort
    (b) they are getting something out of it that is more than just personal amusement.

For example, did you know that Paypal -- a completely legit service -- pays referral fees? Look at the small links on the bottom of the home page.

  18. I'm in Dallas and she's sent me 2 emails. The first is an email address she uses to respond to posted ads in which she says "hi I can send you a pic". The second is one she uses after you respond to the first email address, in which it has the pic at the top of this page.

Who in the world would use 2 different email addresses if they were real? Do they really think that won't send up red flags. Here are the addresses she's using...

Meet Melissa Gaines and her blurry sexy pics

Oh boy! I had no sooner finished posting about the lovely Taylor Burch responding to my personals ad on Craigslist when Melissa Gaines (e-mailing from erikmcclure858@yahoo.com) mailed me a couple more pictures of her lithe body and selling her profile on the same looks-like-a-phishing-scam site (http://craigslistsafe.net/profiles/melx3/). One of them was an NSFW naked-breasts pic which I haven't posted here (sorry -- but honestly, nothing to write home about, especially with the serious bikini tan lines). Here's the e-mail exchange: Melissa e-mail #1 Here is my picture as attached. Please e-mail me details what you are looking for along with your pictures. Thanks and waiting to hear from you soon. Melissa e-mail #2 hey thanks for getting back to me we should definitely meetup sometime... if youre interested of course :) a couple things i should set straight though: 1 we use condoms 2 you join a dating site that I belong to safedates no worries though its fr

Trafalgar's European Explorer 2006 memoirs part 3

A picture from my 2006 trip, a Trafalgar 's bus tour, on an itinerary called the European Explorer. I can't remember why I had this couple in the picture, but I do vaguely remember this to be in London, on the first official day of the tour group getting together. Their insistence on my helping them take a picture caused the three of us to be late getting back to the bus. The local tour guide had a "rule" about lateness, that we had to buy chocolate to share with everyone. As it turned out, later in the trip, on at least two occasions, we were stuck on the highway on either a long commute or a traffic jam, and I had chocolate and chocolate-covered marzipan to share. About the chocolate-covered marzipan -- Apparently we were in Austria just as they were celebrating Mozart's birthday with special marzipans wrapped in foil with the famous composer's picture. I'm pretty sure it was Mirabell Mozartkugeln . Anyway, there were enough to go around the en

Trafalgar's European Explorer 2006 memoirs part 10

The last of my pictures (at least the ones that survived the cheesy disposable cameras) from my 2006 trip, a Trafalgar 's bus tour, on an itinerary called the European Explorer. Below is the obligatory group photo. Not sure everyone's in it, actually. I'm pretty sure this one was taken by the tour director, Mike Scrimshire as I'm in the back row, on the right side.
