There are currently a lot of Indian snacks on sale at Superstore for $1.28 (limit 4). I randomly picked up "Mini Bhakarwadi " to try, and was pleasantly surprised. Each nugget is initially slightly sweet and had a deep-fried crunchiness and flavour to it. However, a spicy heat slowly builds in the mouth to a lingering buzz. Just one or two nuggets is enough is enough to whet your appetite. These are "mini" fried versions. Here is a recipe for the "regular" version of bhakarwadi , which can be baked.
