Is DailyRewards a scam?

You may have seen DailyRewards advertised on Craiglist in the jobs sections. They offer payment for online tasks, including deposits into Paypal. A very lucrative offer is from VIP Casino -- $120 if you spend $25:

*Cash Back will appear as Pending for 32 days. Must deposit and play within 1 week from account registration to earn Cash Back. Must deposit and wager $25 CAD to earn your Cash Back. Must be a new VIP Casino member. Offer may only be redeemed (1) one time per user. This offer is presented to you by DailyRewards on behalf of a third-party merchant or sponsor ("Merchant"). DailyRewards does not endorse (and therefore is not responsible to you for) the Merchant's views, policies, products or services. Have questions? Please contact the DailyRewards Help Center. If you are not credited within 45 days of offer completion, you have 14 days to contact the DailyRewards Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and Cash Back.
However if you dig around the website's help pages, there are numerous complaints about payments not received.
Furthermore, I contacted VIP Casino and they refused to directly say if there is a promotion with DailyRewards. They kept giving me this cut-and-paste answer:

Dear Grail,

Thank you for contacting VIP Casino Customer Support regarding a promotion offered by Daily Rewards.

We appreciate you reaching out for assistance with this offer, however we can only speak for offers created by VIP Casino.

At this time, we are not able to honor any promotions from third party marketing sites, which in this case would be the Daily Rewards site.

We can only confirm possible eligibility for any promotions currently offered on our site, which can be found here: https://www.vipcasino.ca/promotion/daily-plays/

We hope this has been found helpful.

If you have any questions, feel free to visit our online help center at help.vipcasino.ca. Alternatively, you can contact our friendly Customer Support Team via email at support@vipcasino.ca at any time.

Kind regards,

Steven - VIP Casino Customer Support
And there is obviously no promotion on the VIP Casino website where they pay out $120 if you spend $25.
If there were a scam going on, two obvious ones would be:
  • DailyRewards is farming referral fees and have no intention of paying out $120.
  • VIP Casino is using a fake promotion through Daily Rewards to bring in paying customers.
If you are looking for "online work" through a points website, the only one I can still recommend is MyPoints.
  • I have been with them many years, and although I feel they don't properly pay out points for surveys, they do still give you points for surveys and point redemptions have worked for me in the past.
  • I recommend you read our post on MyPoints before you join with our referral code so you set your expectations properly.
  • No, you're not going to make lots of money quickly.
  • But you can eventually make a little bit of money if you do a few free things every day consistently.
  • Before you make any purchase online, check if the vendor is listed in MyPoints (e.g., AliExpress).

Trafalgar's European Explorer 2006 memoirs part 3

A picture from my 2006 trip, a Trafalgar 's bus tour, on an itinerary called the European Explorer. I can't remember why I had this couple in the picture, but I do vaguely remember this to be in London, on the first official day of the tour group getting together. Their insistence on my helping them take a picture caused the three of us to be late getting back to the bus. The local tour guide had a "rule" about lateness, that we had to buy chocolate to share with everyone. As it turned out, later in the trip, on at least two occasions, we were stuck on the highway on either a long commute or a traffic jam, and I had chocolate and chocolate-covered marzipan to share. About the chocolate-covered marzipan -- Apparently we were in Austria just as they were celebrating Mozart's birthday with special marzipans wrapped in foil with the famous composer's picture. I'm pretty sure it was Mirabell Mozartkugeln . Anyway, there were enough to go around the en

Trafalgar's European Explorer 2006 memoirs part 10

The last of my pictures (at least the ones that survived the cheesy disposable cameras) from my 2006 trip, a Trafalgar 's bus tour, on an itinerary called the European Explorer. Below is the obligatory group photo. Not sure everyone's in it, actually. I'm pretty sure this one was taken by the tour director, Mike Scrimshire as I'm in the back row, on the right side.

Trafalgar's European Explorer 2006 memoirs part 9

More assorted couples on my 2006 trip, a Trafalgar 's bus tour, on an itinerary called the European Explorer. An American couple who joked about being from "the land of the giants" -- and with good reason, because both of them were really tall! A cute Jewish mother-daughter pair who ducked out part-way to divert to Israel. I vaguely remember the issue of the daughter being an orthodox Jew was highlighted in France when, to make things easy, she just declared herself vegetarian for the wait staff. I also remember there was some logistics error in France because our party size was way underestimated or simply relayed incorrectly, and there was a shortage of food at dinner. Dessert came as an unopened can of yogurt. It did not seem like they tried to make it up to us later, either. Plus there was smoking every which way in France, and I had a helluva time with that. We were also in a hotel that seemed tucked away in the burbs, and not walking distance from anythin
